On December 20, the first meeting of space agencies and relevant departments of the Organization of Turkic-Speaking States took place in the capital of Azerbaijan - Baku. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Agency for Space Research and Technologies under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Representatives of the agency made a presentation, in particular, talked about the contribution of Uzbekistan in the study and exploration of space, also familiarizing the meeting participants with the activities and plans for the future of the agency "Uzbekkosmos". In addition, the agency "Uzbekkosmos" voiced proposals to strengthen and develop cooperation in the field of space within the framework of the Organization of Turkic-Speaking States on the basis of the directions set out in the "Declaration of the Eighth Summit of the Organization of Turkic States" and "Vision of the Turkic World - 2040". In turn, all other participants in the meeting supported the proposals, in particular:

- studying the issue of developing space standards to coordinate future cooperation;

- sharing of satellite data from the resources of the Member States;

- exchange of experience in various applications, such as water resources management, monitoring of natural disasters, ecology, agriculture and others;

- promoting capacity building programs and exchange of experience in aerospace research and development.
