On December 28, 2021, a meeting was held between representatives of the Uzbekkosmos Agency and the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The meeting discussed the use of space and geoinformation technologies in the field of prevention and elimination of the consequences of natural and man-made emergencies.

Following the meeting, an agreement was signed between the Uzbekkosmos Agency and the Ministry of Emergency Situations on bilateral cooperation to strengthen ties in order to ensure the safety of the population and the country in various emergency situations, and an action plan for its implementation was approved.
