US astronomers have discovered filaments of high-energy electrons in the center of the galaxy.

Astronomers at Northwestern University in the United States have identified about a thousand mysterious filament structures stretching for 150 light-years at the center of the Milky Way. The discovery is reported in an article published in the arXiv preprint repository.
