Roskosmos is considering the possibility of installing in Uzbekistan tracking stations for a warning system about dangerous situations in orbit. It is reported by Interfax.

It is reported that the Public Procurement Portal provided information about this. The portal published a state contract for the "Modernization and development of a complex of specialized optoelectronic means for monitoring near-Earth space." As noted in the text of the contract, the contractor - Research and Production Corporation "Systems of Precision Instrumentation" - will have to simulate "various options for an expanded set of monitoring tools used in the interests of an automated system for warning about dangerous situations in near-Earth space."

The placement of stations in more than 20 points was considered. Among them are Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Cuba, Armenia, Antarctica, Indonesia, Madagascar, Mexico, Ethiopia, Vietnam, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, etc.
