On February 4 this year, a meeting was held between representatives of the Agency for Space Research and Technology under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the French Embassy in Uzbekistan.

Issues of further strengthening of bilateral cooperation were discussed at the meeting.

In particular, special attention was paid to the training, retraining and advanced training of personnel in the leading higher educational institutions of France in order to further develop space activities in our country.

During a sincere dialogue, the Director General of the Agency for Space Research and Technology under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shukhrat Kadyrov informed the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ms. Aurelia Bouchez, about the current state of cooperation with the National Center for Space Research (CNES) and Airbus Defense and Space.

In particular, he noted that Airbus Defense and Space and the Uzbekcosmos Agency are planning a joint implementation of a pilot project.

In turn, Mrs. Orelia Bouchez said that leading French companies, such as Thales, Eutelsat, are also interested in cooperation with the Uzbekcosmos Agency.
