On May 24-29, 2022, the head of Department of the “Uzbekkosmos” Agency D. Abdullayev visited Baku of the Republic of Azerbaijan to get acquainted with the activities of the “Azercosmos” Agency, its ground and space infrastructure, innovative solutions and projects.

During the visit, specialists of the Azercosmos Agency shared their experience in the field of application of space and geoinformation technologies in order to solve problems in various fields of activity.

The Azerbaijani side also expressed its readiness to develop further cooperation in the areas identified in the Memorandum of Understanding between the “Uzbekkosmos” Agency and the “Azercosmos” Agency signed on May 10, 2022 in Tashkent.

As expected, the visit brought positive results, which made it possible to strengthen the experience of the path that the “Azercosmos” Agency is making in the development of space activities.
