Representatives of the Uzbekcosmos Agency at a meeting with the Spanish company GMV got acquainted with the company's solutions for monitoring agricultural land, identifying and managing risks and modeling them through the introduction of space technologies in the agricultural sector.
It was noted that the company has implemented a number of projects to monitor drought and soil composition for international organizations such as the World Bank and the European Space Agency.
Following the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of a pilot project on the use of space technologies in agriculture in Uzbekistan, the organization of trainings to improve the skills of the Agency's employees and the preparation and financing of joint projects with international financial institutions on the use of space space technologies in agriculture and forestry.
