Acting Director General of The Space Research and Technology Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shukhrat Kadirov met with the General Director of “Geoconsult International” company Jamil Mekavi.

At the meeting, a presentation of the Geoconsult International platform based on geoinformation technologies and its advantages took place. It was noted that within the framework of the project implemented in Madagascar on a national scale, the company created a map of the country at a scale of 1:10000, as well as an orthophotomap and topographic maps, using satellite images.

Information was provided on another project of the company Geoconsult smart pixel - improving the quality of satellite images using artificial intelligence, as well as on the work being done in this direction.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached on the joint implementation of a pilot project in a small area in Uzbekistan.
