Within the framework of the international conference “ENGAGE-2022” held in Portugal, representatives of the "Uzbekcosmos" agency and the Latvian company Baltic Satellite Service discussed issues of cooperation.

At the meeting, representatives of the "Uzbekcosmos" Agency got acquainted with the ongoing projects of the company for the digitization and installation of monitoring systems using satellite images and geographic information systems in the forestry and agriculture, emergency situations, and energy.

Following the meeting, the issues of implementing a pilot project on the digitalization of forests in Uzbekistan, holding additional meetings on the technical parameters of decisions to prevent forest fires were agreed upon.
