PNST Scholarship Programs

The United Nations Office for Space Affairs (UNOOSA) and the Government of Japan, in cooperation with the Kyushu Institute of Technology, announced a long-term United Nations scholarship program on nanosatellite technologies for citizens of developing countries and countries without space power. The program provides extensive opportunities for research in the field of nanosatellite systems using nanosatellite development and testing tools available at the Kyushu Institute of Technology.

This program annually accepts 3 undergraduates and 3 doctoral students in the direction of "Graduate Student of Nanosatellite Technologies (PNST)". The duration of training is 2 and 3 years, respectively. Students who successfully defended their diploma will receive Master's and doctorate degrees, as well as the opportunity to take exams for International Space Engineering Courses at the Kyushu Institute of Technology Higher School of Engineering.

Each of the selected candidates will receive a scholarship from the Government of Japan (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology: MEXT) and several additional benefits.
