Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 30, 2022 No. 144 "On measures to further improve the seismic safety system of the Republic of Uzbekistan" and Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 20, 2022 No. 274 "On measures to further improve the activities of the Space Research and Technology Agency" “Uzbekcosmos” Agency established cooperation with a Japanese company "Synspective” to ensure that tasks are completed.

By it, the implementation of large-scale comprehensive measures for the development of areas of seismology, ensuring earthquake resistance and seismic safety of structures in our country. Also, to consistently continue reforms in the spheres, introduce new methods of ensuring seismic safety of the population, simultaneously carry out space monitoring and provision of public administration bodies with satellite images, as well as socio-economic, science, defense, and implements some joint projects, such as establishing effective use of the results of space activities in the field of security.

Within the framework of the World Satellite Business Week 2022, the Agency's delegation met with the management of Synspective and discussed the status of current joint projects, that is, the results and effectiveness of space monitoring of dams in Uzbekistan, as well as further areas of cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, to further expand cooperation in the field of space monitoring, exchange mutual experience, and familiarize themselves with scientific work carried out in this area, agreements were reached on a trip of Agency employees to Japan for an internship.
