Based on the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to further improve the activities of the Space Research and Technology Agency" dated May 20, 2022 No. 274, the task was set to establish the detection of fires in possible regions of the Republic in the field of emergencies, at the initial stages.

To implement this task, specialists of the Uzbekcosmos Agency and the Center for Space Monitoring and Geoinformation Technologies have implemented an interactive geoinformation system showing each heat point. Regular updating of space data in this system allows you to identify new heat points, and detect them at an early stage in the event of a fire based on temperature, time, and other necessary information.

Today, in the Ministry of Emergency Situations building, the Agency and the Center employees held a presentation on this geoinformation platform. In it, experts in this field were familiarized in detail with the capabilities of the system, instructions for its use, the time of updating information, and other features.

During the presentation, the Agency and the Center specialists also answered the questions posed by the Ministry's employees. In addition, it was decided to jointly implement further improvement of the system.

It is worth noting that the interactive GIS system is an auxiliary platform that allows you to quickly respond and prevent emergencies by detecting heat points.
