On 27 May 2021, General Director of Uzbekspace agency Shuhrat Kadirov met with Chairman of the Republican Space Communications Centre of Kazakhstan Malik Zhuyriktaev.

During the meeting discussed priority areas of bilateral regional cooperation in space activities. The parties also discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation.
