On June 10, 2021, the General Director of Uzbekspace Agency Shukhrat Kadirov attended the First International Symposium on Space Science, organized by the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO).

The purpose of the symposium is to exchange experiences in space technology, research, ecosystem problems and opportunities.

The event featured presentations on the importance of strategic relationships between the space industry and academia in developing countries, awareness of the space ecosystem - the importance of space technology for humanity. The conference was attended by ICESCO Director General Al-Malik, CEO of the Space Foundation E. Thomas, Minister of State for Advanced Technologies, Chairman of the UAE Space Agency Yusif Al-Amiri.
