Within the framework of the week “World satellite business week – 2022“, the agency ”Uzbekkosmos" and the Agency for the Development of Geoinformatics and Space Technologies (The Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency - GISTDA).

For reference, GISTDA is a Thai space agency and space exploration organization. He is responsible for remote sensing of the EML and the development of satellites.

During the meeting, issues such as the establishment of cooperation between organizations, in particular, the exchange of experience in the space field, the organization of online seminars and further improvement of the cognitive potential of employees were discussed. Also, the Uzbekcosmos and GISTDA agencies considered the issue of joint projects in the space sphere within the framework of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP).

At the end of the meeting, representatives of GISTDA invited representatives of the agency” Uzbekkosmos " to Thailand to get to know the space infrastructure of Thailand better.
